Dear foreign friends who cheer me up(English)

Hi,I’m Ai Shirakawa,2013 Miss Universe Japan Kumamoto finalist#6

I’ll write in English for the first time in this blog,for foreigner friends who cheer me up and wish for me to win.However I have to write up this in only 10 minutes so I’ll make mistakes,when you find them please let me know later.

As you know,I’m one of the MUJK(Miss Universe Japan Kumamoto) 14 finalists and  I’m at Beauty Camp to learn how to compete to be the winner of MUJK held of the 27th.  I’m writing this to tell you a little bit about my first week and how I feel about this experience.

I’ve had lessons about food, hair, makeup, nails, walking, giving speeches, exercise, etc.  I’m a normal university student so this is my first experience to be around such beautiful girls who look like models.  So far everything is quite new and impressive.

Many things have changed; I always have to behave like a finalist.  I have to speak logically, smile constantly and watch what I eat.  At every lesson we have to be in front of cameras.

Sometimes, of course, I lose my self-confidence competing against other beautiful girls.  However, whenever you send me messages or comments on FB you reall cheer me up.  Thank you all so much.

And thanks to my many friends I now have 113 web votes, 1st now has 125.  I do appreciate my awesome boyfriend who know Japanese who always supports me. Thanks you to all my friends from America,UK,and other countries who have voted for me despite the language barrier between us.

I joined this competition to make myself better at working for international peace.  I need to win this pageant so I can have more opportunities to improve myself.  If I win MUJK I can join the larger Beauty Camp to learn skills to live more internationally minded.  I’m doing more than my best in focusing on winning this competition.  Please keep supporting me and wish for me to win.  Thank you so much!
